Care
Trees are such an important part of our our planet, our property, and our sense of place. Like us, they need care to grow to their greatest potential. Whether it’s protecting your trees from insects, disease, or even old age, ArborClimb is here to help.
Soil Health
Many of the issues we see in tree canopies are a result of what’s happening underground. Soil and root health are critical elements of overall tree health that are often overlooked. Our soil injections and de-compaction procedures help to encourage healthy soil and in turn, healthy trees.
Cabling
Often reserved for large, mature trees, cabling is a tried-and-true tree preservation tactic that helps prevent tree failure during extreme weather conditions. With a maximum breaking strength of over 11,000 pounds, properly installed cables can last the life of your tree and ensure those large stately limbs stay secure.
Pests and Diseases
ArborClimb can identify diseases and pests that are harmful to your trees and offer remedies to combat them. Trees once doomed because of Dutch Elm Disease, Emerald Ash Borer, Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, and more, can now be treated in an environmentally sensitive manner that extends their lives on your landscape.
Fruit Trees
Fruit trees are incredible plants that provide food not only for humans, but also for wildlife, pollinators, and soil microbes; contributing to a healthy and balanced ecosystem. Through pruning and selective spray treatments at strategic times of the year, we can help you develop and maintain the orchard of your dreams!
Tick Treatments
Ticks are a danger to humans and pets; we have an organic treatment to kill them dead.
Curate
We always hear about gardens and lawns, but ArborClimb is here to help with your treescape. Trees provide us so much and we can help you build value into your property by assessing what you have and then creating what you hope for.
Tree Evaluation
Josh Snyder is one of ArborClimb’s ISA Certified Arborists and he is trained in assessing your treescape for safety, health, and the value your trees contribute to your property. Our job is to help you make the best decision for your treescape based on your goals while adhering to internationally recognized arboricultural standards. We can help you inventory and create a maintenance plan for any sized treescape.Pruning
A vast majority of trees can remain standing and be made safer by proper pruning practices. The key word here is proper…the cuts really matter. Our crew is trained on how to make good cuts that encourage tree health and stimulate proper wound closure, making your trees’ canopies safer for you, your family, and your property.
Plantings
An old proverb states, “One generation plants the trees, another gets the shade.” We can help you plant a future heritage tree, or a fast-growing ornamental tree or hedge to enjoy sooner. We can plan, procure, and plant a tree that is appropriate for your timeline and landscape. Our crew is trained in industry-standard arboricultural practices that give your new plants the proper foundation for a healthy life on your property.
Cut
New England is fortunate to have a vibrant and vital arboriculture, which means we have a LOT of trees. We love to keep them healthy, but sometimes trees need to come down. We have the equipment and crew to take down any tree safely and cleanly.
Technical Removals
If you think it’s expensive to hire a professional, hire an amateur first. We can complete some of the most technical removal jobs due to our state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled, professional tree crew. A 10’ long, 1’ thick limb can weigh over 500lbs. Now put that weight 50’ in the air and you see why having the right equipment and personnel is so important.Logging and Clearing
Whether your goals involve improving a view, making room for a new building or garden, or selectively thinning a forested area, we can help you realize your vision. The trees we take down are recycled into wood chips that are used for mulch, lumber for building materials, and firewood; helping to make the most of your timber as a renewable natural resource.Stump Grinding
People have found some nice uses for stumps, but most end up as bug hotels. We’re happy to grind the stumps we make so you can make the most of your property.Forestry Mulching
This isn’t your average mulching. We can identify invasive or unhelpful plants on your property and mulch them in order to help the plants and trees you want.
